May 27th Wedding

A wedding done differently... Rebekah and Andy's wedding took place at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. This venue is a very nice quaint location for both the ceremony and reception. Bekah and Andy's wedding day was fortunately sunny and the incoming storms waited long enough for the happy couple to be married outdoors at the fountain in Mellon Park.

Our day started by filming the bride/groom preparing in the Center. We then prepared for the planned meeting of Bekah and Andy and filmed their first moments together on their wedding day. Bekah looked picture perfect and together they are a beautiful couple! After a few precious moments together, we started in on the photo session with the wedding party and family.

The ceremony began at 6pm and was very touching. Bekah and Andy wrote their own vows and they were extremely heartfelt and well written. This was special for us, as my husband and I did our own vows and haven't been to a wedding since, where this was done! After the very moving ceremony, we moved back to the Center for the Reception.

It was here that we met perhaps the most talented DJ ever! Jeremy Ganss was simply put... wow. From the elegance during the Cocktail Hour and Dinner, to his upbeat and crazy dance music, he was right on! The guests had a blast and I can't tell you how much we enjoyed working with him!

After dinner, Bekah and Andy cut their cake and Andy asked Bekah for the "First Dance". Everything until this point was very classy. After a couple slower songs, the party got started and the dance floor was packed up until the moment we left!

A wedding done differently, but beautifully! Congratulations Bekah and Andy on your marriage and Best Wishes!

May 26th Wedding

Today led us near my hometown, to the streets of Greensburg, PA for Sheila and Kevin's wedding. I met Sheila at the Hampton for some pre-ceremony shots and got a chance to meet the wedding party and the family of the bride. Everyone looked spectacular, and Sheila's dress was just absolutely stunning.

There ceremony took place in the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral on Main Street. This church is as amazing on the inside as it is outside. I was definitely looking forward to this opportunity as I have passed this church for the 26 years of my life, always in "aw" of its beautiful structure.

The ceremony was a Catholic mass and went beautifully. We took a set of photos at the church, and after our 1/2 hour limit, we went on our way to continue the perfect day!

Off to the Westmoreland County Courthouse we went for a truely original set on the very prestigious staircase. I had never seen this section of the courthouse before and absolutely loved it. (You do have to have a permit, but I strongly recommend getting photos here for Greensburg brides!) Upon finishing here, we went to the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg campus for some more beautiful pictures.

We then headed to Lakeview for the reception, just in time to miss the incoming storms! Timing for their day was perfect! After their entrance to the reception, dinner was served and we took a moment to relax and enjoy a very well prepared, steamy meal! When the dinner was over, then the fun began! It was a blast filming Kevin and Sheila, and they were on the dance floor all night! I can't wait to begin editing on this wedding! I will share pictures soon! Congratulations Sheila and Kevin!!!

May 12th Wedding

Yesterday's wedding took us out of our hometown and into the streets of Ohio (Wellsville and Boardman) for Ashley and Tom's wedding. I had the opportunity to meet with them before the wedding and they are such a wonderful couple to work with! Their wedding was nothing short of spectacular. From the blue skies, to the beautiful bride, to the absolutely entertaining reception, the day was perfect! The love between these two was just glowing around them!

The ceremony took place at a very nice quaint little church in Wellsville, from what I remember, where Ashley attended church. The ceremony went off with out a hitch! They make it through the "I Do's", the formal pictures, and off for more pictures we went. We stopped at a park near the reception and took a couple pictures, and then Tom and Ashley and the wedding party were ready to eat!

Over to the Holiday Inn in Boardman we went! The reception was decorated beautifully and the food was delicious! Once dinner was over, the awesome DJs had all the guests on their feet for the rest of the night! What a perfect wedding!

Here is a trailer (preview) for your enjoyment. This is a new trend among my videographer "mentors" across the US. Enjoy and feel free to leave feedback!! CONGRATULATIONS ASHLEY AND TOM and HAVE FUN ON THE HONEYMOON!
